Wondering what the difference between a woman and a slay queen is?. Are you thinking of who to send that awesome message to on a day like today set aside to celebrate women?

Let me help you decide

A woman is a female who is extremely fond of or devoted to a specified type of thing and making positive impact in the society and everywhere she finds herself. 

A slay queen is a female who wants to show or choke people with how "beautiful or cool"(outwardly) they think they are. A slay queen is that female out there portraying false identity just to be noticed without making any positive impact on society.

I am yet to see a teacher or parent who celebrates the child for scoring zero in class or a society who celebrates people who make no positive impacts in the society while there are people making positive impacts in the society. Society celebrates people who make positive impacts to serve as a motivation for them to do better and an inspiration for others to learn from. 

Yes, a woman and a slay queen are both females but there is a difference. A woman makes a positive impact while a slay queen does not. A slay queen can make a positive impact but the negative impacts on the society outweigh the positive. 

UN was not wrong to set a day like today aside to celebrate women. They could have named today International Females' Day but Hey, today is International Women's Day. Because not all females deserved to be called women.

 A woman is that female who won't go to that mile of stealing or having to sleep around with men just to get money to get some make ups on. A woman is that female who knows that being beautiful is not all about putting on make ups and indecent dresses. Yes its good to look beautiful outwardly, a little touch of make up, once a while is awesome but not when you have to steal or engage in some "silly" acts to get it on.

 Being a woman is not just a title, it is an attribute you earn by your attitude. It goes beyond just being female and comes with its own responsibilities.

The next time you want to wish that female a Happy International Women's Day , take a minute to think through if that female is a woman and deserves to be celebrated or not.
